Story:
During the Spring and Autumn period, Zixia, a disciple of Confucius, was by nature solitary and rarely socialized with his fellow students, only being quite close to Zeng Shen.
When Zixia's son died, he cried so much he almost lost his eyesight.
Zeng Shen went to criticize him. Zixia, hearing this, as if waking from a dream, realized that his long-term secluded life had led to such a state. He then controlled his grief and began to interact more with his fellow students.
