Story:
During the Spring and Autumn period, Ziyu asked Zigong, a disciple of Confucius, why Confucius was always able to learn about the political affairs of every state he visited.
Zigong replied that their master was gentle, kind, respectful, modest, and deferential, and he treated others with such an attitude.
People naturally confided in him about state matters; this was his unique virtue.
