Story:
During the late Shang Dynasty, King Zhou was notoriously debauched and tyrannical, causing widespread resentment among the common people.
King Wu of Zhou led a large army to besiege the Shang capital. King Zhou then climbed the Lutai Terrace, set it on fire, and committed suicide.
After establishing the Zhou Dynasty and setting its capital in Haojing, King Wu sent his soldiers home to engage in farming. He returned all the requisitioned cattle and horses, allowing the people across the land to live in peace and contentment.
